Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps children and youth (18 years and under) who are experiencing anxiety, depression (low mood), or other emotional challenges. Caregivers are an important part of the process and are actively involved in treatment to support their child’s progress and well-being.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps children, youth, and their caregivers:
Understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected.
Learn practical skills to manage emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, solve problems, and strengthen relationships.
Build confidence by practicing new skills and using them in everyday life to support resilience and emotional well-being.
