Children’s Group For Grade 9-12
3 week Group – Open to residents of York Region and South Simcoe
In our weekly group you’ll join other Black, African and Carribean (BAC) youth in a relaxed, virtual and respectful space where we talk about real-life challenges and experiences as Black youth in the world. Led by two black therapists, this group focuses on understanding and improving wellness and growth. We will explore things like mental health, stress, school pressures, racial stressors, and lived experiences. We know that our culture, values, and identity shape how you see the world – and we honour that. Whether you are navigating different worlds at home and school, facing discrimination, just trying to figure out who you are and how to live in the world, this group is here to support you.
