Board Member Opportunities

York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families is a non-profit leader in the children’s mental health sector located in York Region.

York Hills provides a spectrum of high quality services to children and youth ages 0-18 years and their families. Our assessment and treatment services include a range of dedicated professional staff that are delivering individual, family and group counselling, community and in-school clinical supports, live-in treatment services, day treatment services, alternative dispute resolution, family mediation, etc.

York Hills is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors of up to twelve members. We are looking for individuals with the following skills:

Currently, the Board is looking to fill a vacancy with an anticipated commencement date in Spring 2024.  

The Board is looking to recruit for the following skills and backgrounds:

Education
Social Work
Lived Expereince

To qualify, you must be 18 years of age or older, and live or work in York Region. Prior board experience is an asset.
