Intergenerational Trauma and Mental Health Across Varied Identities

Presented by: Precious Myers, Zinara McIntosh, Carolynne Warton, Jodi Miller and Habibi E Feliciano Perez. Moderated by Kai Maa Pitanta

Please join us for a panel discussion hosted by York Hills identity specific teams including Kuumba (Black Community Mental Health), First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities as well as PRIDE. This panel of internal identity specific programs will discuss the impacts of intergenerational trauma on individuals, families and communities. In addition, the panel will explore the impact COVID-19 has had on its vulnerable populations, paying particular attention to the impacts of isolation and identity politics. This panel will conclude with future considerations.
